We want you to be happy with BikeTagz. This policy explains your options for cancellation and refunds depending on the plan you chose.

Monthly plan

Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time from your profile page. Your membership remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew and no further charges will be made.

Monthly plans are not eligible for a cash refund for the current billing period already paid.

Annual plan — 14-day refund window

If you purchased an annual membership and wish to cancel within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date, you are eligible for a partial refund.

How the refund is calculated:

  • Full annual plan price paid
  • Minus $10.00 — non-refundable NFC sticker & shipping cost
  • = Refund amount returned to your original payment method

For example: if you paid $11.94 for an annual plan, you would receive a refund of $1.94 (the $10.00 hardware and shipping cost is non-refundable as the sticker has already been prepared for dispatch or dispatched).

Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Annual plan — after 14 days

Annual memberships cancelled after the 14-day window will remain active until the end of the paid annual period and will not renew. No cash refund is issued for the remaining unused period.

How to cancel

Cancellations (and eligible refunds) are handled automatically from your account:

  1. Sign in at biketagz.com/login
  2. Go to your Profile page
  3. Click Cancel membership under the Membership section
  4. If you are within the 14-day annual refund window, you will see a “Refund & Cancel” option — the refund is processed immediately

NFC sticker — hardware cost

The $10.00 NFC sticker and shipping cost is non-refundable in all cases, as the physical sticker is a hardware item that is programmed and dispatched upon subscription. If your sticker is faulty or damaged on arrival, contact us and we will send a replacement at no charge.

Exceptional circumstances

If you believe you are entitled to a refund outside the conditions above — for example due to a service outage, duplicate charge, or billing error — please contact us and we will review your case individually.
